I bought a SCSI cable that is 50 pin on one end and 68 pin on the other. My
purpose was to get the 2 gig drive of the ANS working on another Mac before
putting it back into the ANS 500.
But the drive doesn't show up on the SCSI bus (looking for it with SCSI
Probe on a G3/233 with only a tape drive that shows at ID 2), even though
it is set for SCSI ID 0.
The drive did show up on a G3 server which has a fast/wide scsi, but I
can't normally take down the server just to fiddle with this drive.
Any hints? Any pointers to wiring pinouts in case I should test or rewire
the cable? Thanks.
