Hi,
I'm kind of getting desperate here..
I have a apple network server 500, and trying to
install linux on it.
so... I've tried installer.coff dated to January and September
and also some older installer.coff which I hapened to find,
and none of them works. I've also tried vmlinux.coff and it
doesn't work either. I've set load-base to 10000,
I've booted it with boot fd:installer.coff root=/dev/ram
and without that root parameter. And I DO have ftp'd those
files in binary mode and used macos to copy it on a fresh
disk. BUT every f... time I keep getting DEFAULT CATCH..
What the hell am I doing wrong?
ok I don't have the linuxppc 4.0 cd, yet...
but is THAT the thing I really need to get this up&running?
basic infos:
ANS 500/132
OF 1.1.22
(formerly run on AIX)
(Can I some how use that AIX to install linux..?)
so pretty please.. HELP! ;)
