Hi,
   the installer.coff from dusers always hung at that point for me, so I
used the installer.coff from samba or dodds.net I think and installed on
an external drive and then built a new kernel and copied the filesystems
over to an internal drive.
   I haven't seen an installer.coff for the ANS500's yet that works and
recognizes the internal ethernet+scsi.
