try

setenv boot-device disk1:vmlinux
setenv boot-file /boot/vmlinux root=/dev/sda5

Where the 1 in disk 1 depends on the drawer the drive is in
and the 5 in sda5 depends on the partition that vmlinux is on. The a in sda
is probably OK if the boot disk is the first one that linux finds on
startup.
