I am now where I expect that I am able to run from the internal disk.
What I did was use another machine to install on an external disk, move
it to ANS, boot it with the dusers kernel. pdisk -i to partition internal
disk. Copying the filesystem over using cpio is then no problem.
Currently I am building my own kernel with ATI XClaim GA support, module
support and otherwise modifying it to my needs. My only problem seems
to be that the NE2000 PCI card support has disappeared at some stage, so
I will have to re-integrate it.
