Sorry this is off topic but it might be worthwhile to post list
subscription instructions somewhere (or perhaps they already are). In
looking through the mailing list archives, I see a lot of messages about
subscribing. I'll hazard a wild guess that some of them are reading the
ANS install steps at http://www.demonsys.com/ans and following the
instructions to:
"Believe it or not, there is a thriving support community for the ANS and
for LinuxPPC/ANS on the web. To subscribe to the LinuxPPC mailing list
which is kindly provided by the folks at Hellfire, send mail to
linuxppc-ans-support@hellfire.dusers.drexel.edu. "
I think perhaps if this were modified to have them send a request to
linuxppc-ans-support-request@hellfire.dusers.drexel.edu. I tried that
address prior to sending a subscription request to the whole list and by
golly, it worked. I don't believe any instructions were returned with
that email, other than success/failure/status of requests. Just thought
it might be worthwhile to impliment something like this and perhaps take
the load off of whoever is manually subscribing/unsubscribing people.
