I got the new files at Monday noon from the FTP site.
The installer.coff still gives up at the install/upgrade screen
BUT
I dropped in the vmlinux into the linuxppc system I did earlier on a 7300.
Now this drive boots from the internal scsi bus, the colours are right and
the
Ethernet works. Now all I need is to figure out how to reformat and
partition the hard drive that came in the ANS 500 (I don't have any
other fastwide scsi machines) - pdisk doesn't like it, since it has no A/UX
formatting.
