For a while now I've been unable to boot on my ANS500 if the file
/etc/quik.conf existed.. if I deleted that file, the machine would boot,
but would wait for user input at the QUIK prompt.. I further discovered
today that I could only boot from files that were in the root directory..
ie: I could not boot from /boot/vmlinux, only /vmlinux.
I found that I can now boot up fine if my quik.conf file is in the root
directory (quik -C /quik.conf) and I boot off an image in the root
directory also. It would appear that the quik secondary loader (on my
machine atleast) will/can not read files in any directory other than the
root directory.
