thanks for the reply, unfortunately it has not made any difference. I don't
think that it's getting that far.
I'm really not sure if it is a probem with the openfirmware setup or the
quik setup.
Any other ideas?
could you tell me what open firmware settings you are using/would recommend
please? please give me all settings including load base etc just in case....
Also what does the partition map look like on your (successful) boot drive?
