It's slow to us too :-) We're currently going through a
software router (running on a Mac Quadra 800) that routes
our server through an AppleTalk connection to the campus
network, which itself, has a slow connection to the outside
world, especially during peak hours :-)
Come this march, though, we're told we'll be getting a big
fat direct-to-campus ethernet connection, so things should
become much faster (opening up possibilities of mirroring
ftp.linuxppc.org and all those good things).
