OK - let's look at the following:
        1) What version of Quik are you using?
        2) How are you telling Quik to boot from your external drive
                (when the 4GB internal is connected).
        3) Do you have a 500 or 700? RAM? Cache?

        4) Or does Quik not even load boot up and work?
