IBM DFHS S4W in ANS 700

Howdy all! I've got a little problem here - I just put in a second 4GB SCSI
drive into my ANS 700/200 and am running into this:

SCSI disk error : host 0 channel 0 id 1 lun 0 return code = 28000002
extra data not valid Current error sd08:10: sense key Data protect
Additional sense indicates write protected
scsi disk I/O error: dev 08:10, sector 0

Then it says it again for sector 2 as well. This is happening when I'm
trying to write the partition changes in /sbin/pdisk.

This drive works fine in the Mac OS, but it gives me this error whenever
I've tried it with the ANS - it's one of the drives that came with this unit
and it did work (at least with AIX) at one time. It's an IBM DFHS S4W
(4.5GB). It's got a "write protect" jumper pair but they're not jumpered and
it writes just fine if you're using the Mac OS on another machine. Could
there be something else happening here?

I've got all the jumper settings here from IBM's website and they seem to be
correct - can somebody take a quick look at their jumper settings and send
them on over to me?

Thanks!
