Good Morning!
First, let me quickly express my thanks to everyone who has made the last
12 or so hours of my time much less painful than it could have been. I
now have an ANS 700/150 up and running on R5, and am compiling kernel
2.2.7 to get through that 'last step', for the near term. Without all the
great info available, chances are I'd still be running AIX. :)
Now, for my question: (Oh, how quickly they turn...)
I've poured over the archives, and found various mentions of people
trying to install against the stock internal IBM DFHS drives (4G, SCSI-W,
etc) and getting long rafts of cycling errors from the SCSI driver as it
goes into infinite reset loops.
Any chance -anyone- has figured out how to get this to behave? I'd really
like to use that 4Gb of storage, instead of running out and buying yet
another SCSI-2 HD.
Thanks,
Mark
