Hi folks,

I got two ANS700 here and I gave it another try to run LinuxPPC after
I received a new disk.

I've installed the ins.ydl.coff and the PPC 5.0 CD.
Besides a few strange messages, the installation went fine.
One thing which didnt work is X11. Well I dont need X11 on the
console so I dont care. The second thing was the configuration of the
keyboard. So I selected my proper keybard language "sg-latin1" as I
usually do on Linux for intel.

Now this screwed everything up completely. Keys are no longer where
they should be. And in my eyes there are so much mismapped that even
return doesnt work.

Now I'm trying to go back to US keyboard (I'm kind of used to it by
now) but by changing /etc/sysconfig/keyboard to "us", I still dont
have the right setting.

Does anyone have a clue how this keyboard mapping should work?

Thanks

Andreas Fink
