YA-Update on my install...

Well folks when we last left Chuck he was whacking his network server
with a stick and cursing the linux dieties...

If you recall I was having nothing but trouble with an install over
FTP and/or formatting my internal disk with fdisk.

I cured the disk thing by re-installing AIX (shudder, well at least
as far as the disk formatting part). That seemed to do the trick so I
could use diskdruid (or whatever it is called).

I solved the FTP problems by purchasing a YDL install package on CD ROM.

So on Friday I managed to get YDL installed (as per the
Every/demonsys instructions). Everything went very well... up to a
point.

Since I never plan on having a monitor on this box (except with the
server room's crash cart should all go to hell) I did a full install
minus the X windows stuff.

I came to the part about getting internal scsi booting (moving the
kernel to the /boot partition, and doing the quik & quik.conf stuff)
when it became clear I (or the instructions?) was missing something
obvious:
I have no quik.conf file nor is there an /sbin/quik.

Someone apply the Wire Brush of Enlightenment upon me please, For I
am Clueless.
