by reading the source, I've figured out its a misc device with major
10, minor 160 which you can create with mknod. I've tried to write to
the display and I was a bit puzzled in what sequence it is writing to
the screen. In my install this is line 2, line 4, line 1, line 3. But
besides that, it works fine.
