quik Can't recognize ext2fs

Hi,

In the ANS install instructions found at
ftp://ftp.emji.net/pub/ans/REAME.html

...it says to make the tiny /boot partition an ext2 file system. But when
I attempt to run quick, it says that the partition isn't HFS, so it can't
be the boot partition.

What am I doing wrong?
