Reply to: RE: quik Can't recognize ext2fs
Hi there=85
I have a similar problem with my ANS 700, however, I get the following:
[[root@localhost /root]# mke2fs /dev/sda6
mke2fs 1.14, 9-Jan-1999 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
/dev/sda6 is mounted; will not make a filesystem here!
[[root@localhost /root]#
Just to let you know, I've got an 8.7G IBM internal drive, partitioned per =
Scott's instructions ("/boot" =3D 40MB boot partion </dev/sda6> format as =
Linux Native; "swap" =3D 128MB swap partition </dev/sda5> format as Linux =
Swap; "/" =3D 8335MB root partition </dev/sda1> format as Linux Native
I hope I'm just not following syntax right, I'm just so used to MacOS and =
this CLI is still new, for now=85hope to hear soon, thanks, Randy:)
