ram limits?

i just found 2 128MB DIMM's which seem to work in the ANS 700. However,
while the ANS LCD screen shows a total of 304MB RAM, linux is only seeing
the first 256MB. Is there anything that needs to be done to allow linuxppc
to see more than 256MB?
