Hard drive compatibility with ANS?

Hi,

I got the 2.2.13 kernel working with the latest release of software RAID
yesterday and found that one of my 4Gb Seagate drives apparently is
defective, as the drive always causes the machine to crash when its
included in an array. While I don't see myself replacing the drive
anytime soon, I'm wondering if anyone has reports of drives that don't
work with the ANS. I've heard reports that some drives just don't work
with this box but I've always had good luck with the stock Seagate drives
(aside from the apparently defective drive). Any comments?
