This one is easy. The problem is, that the drive reports that it
accepts tagged command queueing, but it doesn't. To fix this,
I have the following line in my quik.conf
append = "ncr53c8xx=ultra:n,tags:0 sym53c8xx=tags:0"
I have listed both the ncr and sym, as the default switched at some point,
and both are in modern kernels. Some person once on a mailinglist told
how to disble tagged queueing only on the one drive.
BTW: I am currently playing with Mac-on-Linux
http://www.ibrium.se/linux/mac_on_linux.html
So I am running MacOS9 on my ANS 700/200 :)
Only problems was, that I could not get pdisk to write
a new partition table on my IBM drive. I had do some ugly thing
like 'cp /dev/sdc /dev/sdb' where sdc was a Jaz disk. Then I
could start using pdisk.
Another problem is the palette and colors.
I am using an ATI card for video BTW.
