I'm also having some difficulties getting YDL installed on a Network
Server 700.
After several false starts, I've gotten things to the point where I
have installed the YDL LINUX distribution, and booted into LINUX from
the floppy drive. I'm currently stuck at reconfiguring the machine
to boot off the hard disk, and I'm not at all sure where I'm wrong.
I'm still in "Maintenance Mode", I've logged in as root. I've set up
my hard disk partitions as described at
ftp://ftp.emji.net/pub/ans/README.html
So, I'm on "step 7", and trying to set up the system so that it will
boot off the hard disk, but when I try to issue the command
mke2fs /dev/sda2
I get an error message as follows
/dev/sda2 is mounted; will not make a file system here!
I can't unmount the partition (umount tells me that the device is
busy), and I'm frankly a little lost at this point. Any ideas?
